Krv nije voda is translated as "Blood is thicker than water". This saying is central to this scripted reality family-story format about love stories, divorce dramas, and shocking family secrets. Each episode chronicles one family's fated story from start to finish.
From 2011 until 2013, KRV NIJE VODA was with more than 240 episodes one of the most successful shows on RTL Televizija – although it was in fierce competition with the evening news aired at the same time by the two other main Croatian TV broadcasters. Ratings averaged at 25% and peaked at way over 30% for the 18-49 target group.
