Big Blöff
Who is better at deception?
Sushi from an abdominal crease? A flying skateboard? Living with a tarantula? In the new SAT.1 comedy show, Big Bluff, comedians Bülent Ceylan and Chris Tall team up against Paul Panzer and Martin Rütter. The big question: Who is better at deceiving the others? In the end, the audience always wins.
The red team, made up of Bülent Ceylan and Chris Tall, competes with its audience allies against the blue team’s Paul Panzer and Martin Rütter, supported by their viewers. Both teams take turns making three outrageous claims – which are either true or completely made up. Each team cross-examines the other for one minute: Does the player hesitate, or are there holes in his story? It’s up to the audience to decide if the story of the opposing team checks out, or if they are bluffing. That’s also how they are able to move money from the other team’s winnings over to their own. In the end, the group of audience members with the most funds wins. This means that every visitor in the studio has a chance to take home some cash.
“Big Bluff” starts on Friday, November 2, at 8:15pm on SAT.1. Janine Kunze hosts the show.
